School of Health Programs

Health Camp, a program created by the School of Health, offers children in rural areas a unique opportunity to learn and enjoy a variety of activities in a healthy and safe environment. Over the course of several days, children take part in activities designed to develop their social, physical and mental skills, exploring key topics such as nutrition, psychology and sports under the guidance of professional facilitators.
The program is completely free of charge and includes a variety of activities that encourage a healthy lifestyle, helping children to overcome challenges, create friendships and build self-confidence.

Health Camp 2024

In October 2024, Health Camp was held at Wonderland Resort with 44 children from rural areas near Cluj. For four days, the children enjoyed an unforgettable experience combining learning with recreational activities, all in a safe and friendly environment. In addition to workshops on nutrition and emotional health, the camp program included a variety of sports and team activities that tested their courage and accuracy.

The children explored interactive outdoor games, went hiking and enjoyed the adrenaline rush of a day of zip-lining, archery and other recreational activities, including relaxing moments in the spa. Each day was full of discovery and new friendships, and through all these experiences, participants learned how to develop social, physical and emotional skills, gaining confidence and autonomy in their health choices.

Thank you so much for the care, for the activities, for all the beautiful moments you have created for the children. They are extremely enthusiastic and we as parents are grateful for this opportunity

Generic Parent Workshop Programs
School of Health aims to support not only children and young people, but their entire family ecosystem. We understand that parents are concerned about their children's health, but not always ready to cope with age-specific changes. At the same time, the wealth of information available can be confusing. That's why we offer parents the opportunity to regularly inform themselves and discuss directly with specialists in relevant fields.
Twice a month, parents from our partner schools are invited to dedicated workshops where experts address age-structured topics. Parents can ask questions and get answers about physical and mental health, family lifestyle, the importance of movement and sport, children's developmental stages, addiction prevention and beneficial relaxation opportunities.

Launched by the School of Health, the HealthUp Club program is a unique initiative dedicated to high school students who want to become health ambassadors in their schools and communities. At HealthUp, you will have the opportunity to work side by side with your peers to develop innovative health and wellbeing projects that have a real impact on those around you.

What happens at HealthUp?

The club functions as an active community of students, consisting of at least 10 members from the same school, who meet weekly to discuss, create and implement health initiatives. From nutrition, physical activity and mental health projects to awareness campaigns and community events, every club project will be an opportunity to learn, get involved and make a difference.

The Body and Soul Health Education (BSHE) project aims to improve access to health services for vulnerable groups in remote areas, including Roma communities, through outreach initiatives. The project aims to increase awareness and empowerment through educational campaigns and information sessions.
The topics addressed in the project are key to health and include: mental health, nutrition and diabetes prevention, intimate and sexual hygiene, and substance use prevention. Each of these themes has been selected for its major impact on the well-being and healthy development of young people.
Through the activities carried out by the mobile team and an online platform, the project aims to directly support around 450 people, ensuring access to information and resources provided by professionals. Children from the Cluj metropolitan area also took part in the activities, and 15 teachers attended two training sessions on these topics to support the healthy development of pupils in their communities.
